PSM
Clémence Navarro-Bastin, Paris. Portrayed by Henri Buffetaut for PSM 30, Spring 2024.
Since 2016, PSM has been black and white. Period.
A collector's book, printed in small runs, made to earn its place on the shelf.
PSM is built around authorship. We publish artists with a point of view, the kind you can recognize in a single frame. The photographer sets the tone, the pace, and the gaze.
And through that gaze, a certain woman comes into focus. Not casual. Nothing accidental. Editorial by nature. Presence and control, noticed in silence. A composed silhouette, a calm intensity, a hint of danger, always with taste.
Each issue is edited with restraint and sequenced with intention. The photograph speaks on its own. Paper gives presence, and presence is where photography is recognized as art.
Issue by issue, PSM moves by word of mouth, finding readers who prefer fewer things made better, and who keep what deserves to stay.
Black and white by choice.
